Our team identified, acquired, and successfully managed the properties on Hartwell Street in Dorchester, Massachusetts as part of our ongoing commitment to strategic real estate investment. These properties were initially part of a low-income housing program with rent restrictions in place. Recognizing the opportunity for value creation upon the expiration of these restrictions, we devised a plan to enhance the property’s appeal, increase rental revenue, and stabilize the asset. Additionally, we took advantage of the high ceilings in the basement of one of the buildings and entitled and constructed two additional residential units.
